Vatican’s New Norms: A Call for Personal Discernment in Supernatural Phenomena

With the Vatican’s recent guidelines on discerning alleged supernatural phenomena, I’ve reflected on how quietly I’ve advocated for the need to discern truth not just in the external world, but within ourselves.

I’m not so quiet any longer.

Since 2015, the reported number of requests for exorcisms has seen a dramatic increase worldwide. In the United States, the number of exorcists has grown from around 12 in the early 2000s to over 100 by 2021, reflecting the rising demand. In Italy, requests for exorcisms tripled between 2015 and 2018, with an estimated 500,000 requests annually.

Around the same time that exorcism requests were tripling, the misperception of my perfect life began unraveling. This caused an awakening that made me feel as if I was going crazy. But crazy people don’t question if they’re crazy, right?

According to recent Vatican News, as a general rule, neither the local bishop nor the Holy See will officially declare reported phenomena as supernatural. Instead, they will only authorize and promote devotion and pilgrimages associated with these events.

Reflecting on the Vatican’s New Guidelines: A Cautious Approach to Supernatural Claims

The Vatican’s updated guidelines, presented on May 17, 2024, underscore the necessity of a meticulous approach to evaluating supernatural phenomena. This new document replaces the previous document from 1978, mirroring the Church’s response to the surge in reported supernatural events, particularly in an age where social media allows misinformation to spread rapidly.

Key aspects of the guidelines include:

  • Nihil Obstat: Encouraging devotion and pilgrimages without formally declaring the phenomena as supernatural.

  • Prae oculis habeatur: Recognizing positive signs while noting potential risks.

  • Curatur: Advising against banning phenomena with significant spiritual fruits but not encouraging them.

  • Sub mandato: Addressing issues of misuse by people or groups.

  • Prohibetur et obstruatur: Providing catechesis to redirect the faithful in cases with serious risks.

  • Declaratio de non supernaturalitate: Declaring phenomena non-supernatural based on evidence.

I have been tracking the rise in exorcism requests and the mass spiritual awakening since 2015. For almost ten years, I have quietly observed and witnessed what I always knew was coming. The darkness that has enveloped this world will soon come to light. Just as cockroaches scramble when the lights come on, the same is happening here and now.

Yet, the cockroaches I speak of are not tangible or visible to the human eye. These types of insects feed upon the souls and energy of humans. That’s why my spirit teams and guides side-kicked me up against my head many moons ago to get my attention.

I was hard-headed and stubborn. No matter how hard they threw messages and signs my way, I was great at blocking them all out. Until a fateful day in January 2015, when I could no longer ignore the messages or signs waterfalling to me from my spirit teams. At that point, swimming upstream had exhausted me, and I fully surrendered.

What happened next was a significant evolutionary transition in my life. I went from being a mortgage banker to exorcizing demons, performing remote healing and releasements, and even working with the Dalai Lama’s Executive Director. He wanted to share my name and work with others, but at that time, I did what I knew best — I ran the other way.

The people who found me for healing sessions sensed my innate abilities before I did. I was born with special gifts that I ran far away from because I was afraid of my power. Coupled with the epigenetic inheritance of fear carried in my cells from my mother and grandmother, discerning who I was and what I was has been the story of my life.

Fighting demons has been a recurrent theme in many lifetimes. So many demons, such little time. But I no longer run from fear. I now embrace my gifts and use them to help others discern the truth within themselves.

The new Vatican guidelines couldn’t have come at a more divine time for me. When I heard of the Vatican’s call for personal discernment due to the increase of supernatural phenomena, I closed my eyes to thank my spirit teams. It was only last month that I felt the nudge to put together my first-ever Spirit Releasement Therapy Training Course. But I’m going to be real with you, I was exhausted last month. So much so, that I was going to postpone and even cancel the other live course I planned to teach.

That live course is currently going strong with international students from around the world.

As someone who has walked the path of the Modern-Day Exorcist, I have seen firsthand the dangers of unexamined beliefs and the power of self-deception. There’s a strong need for individuals to develop their ability to discern truth. Many people lie to themselves, whether consciously or unconsciously, and this self-deception can cloud judgment and spiritual perception. Personal discernment is about learning to tell the truth from falsehood, not just in the external claims we encounter but within our hearts and minds.

Due to the delicate nature of spirit and demonic attachment, moving efficiently and effectively through the ethers and dimensions has been my focus for years. I am excited to announce the launch of my Spirit Releasement Therapy Training Course after ten years of preparation. This course is designed to help individuals develop the skills necessary to discern truth in their spiritual experiences and their everyday lives. From personal to spiritual discernment.

This course is also very helpful before the rare disorder of prosopometamorphopsia, or PMO (demon face syndrome) becomes not so rare. The extremely rare neurological disorder of perception causes faces to appear distorted in shape, size, texture, or color.

In light of the Vatican’s new guidelines and the growing prevalence of reported supernatural phenomena, it is more important than ever to develop strong personal discernment. It doesn’t matter what or who you believe in, we’re all in this together now.

I’ve never been one to thank the Vatican due to the history of its state, but this time around, I’d like to publicly thank them for unknowingly kickstarting the marketing for my Spirit Releasement Therapy Training course.
