How to Strengthen Your Connection to Mother Nature

The moment you become aware of yourself, you eventually start becoming aware of your surroundings. Once you begin to shift your perception, some of us may start to have a bird’s eye view of life and that’s when some of us begin to experience the magic of all things beautiful. Starting with your connection to Mother Earth and Mother Nature and all her wondrous beings.

I stood in my kitchen yesterday and waited for my coffee to brew and I noticed a bee near my essential oil diffuser. I smiled and greeted it as I saw another one through my opened sliding glass door, followed by another one. They started to swirl around me and I wondered if I had a nest outside.

I walked through my living room and through another three bees flying around out to my balcony. Low and behold, there was no nest, just more bees inviting themselves in.

I poured my coffee, sat on my couch and then watched all eight of them buzz around my home, I knew this was not a coincidence.

I smiled and sipped and thanked the heavens above, thanked Mother Earth and let the bees do their thing as I did mine.

I had just finished putting up a piece of paper on my wall, before the coffee started to brew, with yesterday’s date, the country I am in and also a ten euro bill, my first bill received for services rendered. I do this in every country I am in, first with the States, then with Italy, now with Kosovo. My symphony of bees flew in right after I walked into my kitchen.

Bees are a sign of good luck, they are a sign of wealth and prosperity and when you allow them to come and go freely in your home, you are allowing them to flow in and out with ease. One bee is great, more than one signals an avalanche of good prosperous ‘luck’ on its’ way.

I don’t believe in luck though, I believe in karma and hard work, the rest will follow.

I was not afraid when the bees invited themselves in my home, for the harmony I emit from my soul vibrates on the same scale as animals and insects. We are all one. I had to learn how to become one with myself before I understood there is a connection between every single person, animal, insect, plant and sentient beings.

Every single man, animal, insect, plant, and sentient being is a divine link in my chain of good.

I took some time later that day to sit in meditation to give gratitude for the synchronicity of all things that were happening to me at that moment. As I was getting ready for bed that evening, I saw them.

Three still bees on the floor of my bedroom in a triangle position next to my night stand. A night stand which holds my gratitude/dream journal. I understood that these deaths were sacrifices for new beginnings, an omen of renewal as tonight’s Pisces full moon pushes each one of us into a new reality so what is meant to happen is taking place as we speak.

I sat on my bed and prayed for these three bees who sacrificed their lives and slid into bed. I wrote down three things that went well and gave more thanks for all that is, all that there was, and for all that will be. Before I turned off the light, I moved the curtain a little to the left so that the light of the almost Pisces full moon touched my face. Peace laid next to me as serenity tucked me in.

“We are all one,” I heard.

I closed my eyes then as Mother Moon caressed my face and lulled me to sleep. We are all one, I whispered and then drifted off. A friendly reminder that we are all connected.

TIPS FOR CONNECTING WITH MOTHER NATURE:

  1. Unplug yourself from all technology, become one with the flow of life instead of the frequencies of electromagnetic fields. (disconnect)

  2. To strengthen your connection with Mother Nature, strengthening self is a requirement. Sit in meditation in nature and go inward. If sitting in nature is not an option, sit in silence in the safety of your home or where you feel safe, go inward. (stillness)

  3. When animals and/or insects appear, do not be afraid and ask them if there is anything they need or require. (serving)

  4. Ask for Mother Earth and Mother Gaia if there is anything you can do to help her, she will reply as long as you are listening. (oneness)

  5. Walk barefoot to ground yourself in grass, dirt, sand, ocean etc. (grounding)

  6. Listen to the birds when they chirp and notice if they are singing they same song or different versions. (discernment)

  7. Hug a tree. (energy exchange)

Blessed be.
