What Are You Thankful For?

It’s raining here in Southern California on this day of thanks, a first for me and for many I’ve asked.

“Do you remember a time when it rained on Thanksgiving day?” I asked a handful of my closests friends yesterday. A couple of them took their time to think back and we all had the same conclusion, ‘No, no, I don’t remember a time when it rained on Thanksgiving on Southern California…”

Global warming? Climate change? Normal weather cycles? Mother Earth’s own cleansing process?

All of the above.

I’ve been traveling for the last four years, feeling the extremes of heat waves across Europe to the cold fronts in the states and the downpours of Southern America. Every single time I am in a different country, I always close my eyes to meditate and ask the God’s above to provide insight on what is happening in our world. I go inward to listen to my heart beat and to feel my blood flow, to honor my truth and to find stillness in this crazy world we live in today.

My heart went out to my Albanian friends and some of those I call my family now, the Albanian community reeling in pain as a 6.4 magnitude earthquake rocked the country on Tuesday, November 28th, 2019, killing over 30 and displacing many. I cried a little after I heard the immediate search and rescue parties were called off after the first 5.1 aftershock, for there were many more to follow.

There was also a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Sainyabuli, Laos over eight days ago, the aftershocks also in the 5’s. Another in 5.0 magnitude in Vietnam, the ground is shaking around the world and it is just the beginning.

“Carol, when the ground starts to shake in 2020, you come back here okay?” Yukio told me as he stood next to the Grand Master of the community.

I nodded my head in gratitude but my heart didn’t want to believe it. It’s too soon, 2020 is just around the corner, they don’t know what they’re talking about, I thought.

This community was in a rural and remote area around some villages in Asia, a place that did not exist on google maps, but my soul found my way there. On the day before a Saint from the Heavens was to channel inside the body of the female Grand Master, I arrived as a foreigner and stranger and welcomed with open arms.

Something that has never happened in the history of this community.

Entrance was only granted to those considering joining the community, something I was not seeking or entertaining. And this was on the day before the Grand Master’s soul was to leave her body, so that a Saint’s soul could channel into her body to recite teachings of Heaven to those there. The Grand Master was not to be bothered in preparation for her channeling and then there we were, sitting on the balcony overlooking the rice patties having tea.

“We want you to observe what happens in 2019, because you will know then that we are telling the truth,” he added. Once again, I nodded in gratitude and thanked them from my heart as I sipped my jasmine tea.

Many people come to me for answers about their lives, jobs, relationships etc and more than ever now, my clients ask me how could they prepare for what is to come as they read my private thoughts on my Facebook posts.

I tell them all the same, “Be kind to yourself and one another. Live your life as if it’s your last and love everyone around you. Do what you can, try your best. What is happening is already in place and there is not much anyone of us can do but embrace the shifts and changes happening around our world, there will be more to come.”

The result of today is happening because all of our own doing, all of us as a collective because we are all one. Many of us thought, myself included at one point, our lives were separated because we built our own walls and families and communities as if the outside world did not exist, but my darlings, it does.

Mother Nature and Mother Earth is reminding us that we are all one and in the darkest of times, we are shown how much lights exists in each one of us. As we pulled together to pray for the rainfall for the Amazonia’s and in California, as humans run into fires to save animals, as the Albanian communities around the world gather to send their love, their money and their help to their home country in distress, this is a time to remember that each one of us is love, that giving thanks shouldn’t be set for one day of the year but for every single day.

“Carol, regarding your shaking post. I’m not sure you know that my degree is in geology. Anyway, there was movement on the Garlock fault. Anyway, there are thousands of earthquakes daily in California, most of them very small. I am telling you about this because movement on the Garlock has never been recorded before,” a friend of mine messaged me back in October.

I started to do some research on the Garlock fault after I received this message, a fault which I learned can cause a 8.0 magnitude earthquake. There has never been a recording of movement ever on the Garlock fault, until recently.

There are some who might argue that global warming does not exist or climate change isn’t real and all I can say is that the proof is in the pudding. Take a look around not only where you live but what is happening around the world, the timing of each of these events are too close to call natural weather cycles.

“Carol, how can I prepare my family for what is to come? Is there anything I can do?” my client asked me yesterday as we drove up to Los Angeles to meet another healer.

“Be kind to yourself and one another. Live your life as if it’s your last and love everyone around you. Do what you can, try your best. What is happening is already in place and there is not much anyone of us can do but embrace the shifts and changes happening around our world, there is more to come.”

I send each one of you reading this healing love from afar.

Blessed be.
